Lets all keep in mind that the average PE for Dell during this present Q is 24.2 so far...began at $92 with a PE of 21.7 and now we stand much higher... But still...It's the average that matters for a stock that has earnings growing so quickly... The DJIA stands at a PE of 18...any of them growing as fast as Dell in the earnings column...i don't think so...so commanding an average premium of 24 over 18 for the market isn't ABSURD.... Are the DJIA comapnaies going to grow 18% next year...don't think so...most are call ing for a 10% EPS rise at the most... so let's see, those 30 companies command a premium to their earnigs growth...and DELL commands a discount even at these prices...
