Jim, I think under some conditions certain rights may be granted to shareholders of record pre-split that may not be granted to shares purchased after the shareholder of record date. In Dell's case I believe there is no difference as no special rights have been granted to pre-split shares. I was at my local Best Buy yesterday. I know what John Glenn felt like! I orbited the parking lot for 5 minutes to get a spot. Inside was a mad house. To be honest the prices are good but the store is a joke. People standing in line put idems back on the shelf and walked out as lines were too long. All check stands were not open! If they won't open all the check stands on a day like that they should take them out! Again customer service is not keeping up with demand especially in the computer section. Accessaries are moving very well as is software. I noticed the computer section. Compared to the accessaries, the computers are not getting as much attention. Most are looking at the low end PB, ACER types. I have the feeling higher end buyers are going somewhere else. Hoping for a happy Monday, Pat
