I use Schwab for my options trading and will get instant executions if I am at the bid/ask. If I can't watch the real time quotes I give them my limit offer and I either get partial or complete fills when my numbers are hit. Partial fills occur only if it just touches my limit briefly and then goes the other way.

To find entry/exit points I get help from my Schwab 500 team to get information on buy/sell programs and which way the futures traders are going to do intra-day trades. For the bigger overall market signals I get input from the Bedford exchange and study technical analysis charts.

I'm looking into software from Michael Chalek for futures trading. He doesn't trade the OEX, but he does the SP 500.

Anyone else have any insight on market timing models/software?
