Sherry, I have a problem with an 'ignore' button. It seems to presuppose that there are some people on SI that are too stupid to skip posters that they don't agree with. For example, if one chooses not to read something by 'lee cooper' then the only action required is the 'non-action' of not clicking on a post that clearly has my name assocoiated with it. If it has my name at the bottom, it will be my post - every single time. I admit that there are posters that are '5 cans short of a sixpack' around here but I think that they should be able to figure this out. Genereally, the 'ostrich' types are more concerned that everyone be forced to ignore a certain poster than ignoring them themselves. Visit certain 'combative' threads where an agreement has been reached to ignore a favorite poster...but yet this poster gets responses. How is this possible unless the poster is being read???? Huh??? Logic just bit me in the butt. I guess that SI does have posters that can't figure out not to click on posts by people that they disagree with...maybe an 'ignore' is in order after all...for those who are truly 'dumber than dirt'. lee(the hick)
