Sounds like Pete's customers are trying an end run, all the while telling him: "Great job, thanks for letting us do the marketing, no need for CKFR to be out front, keep building the pipeline, we'll be there to use it...blah blah blah"

CKFR better cozy up to a "portal" or two, just to let the banks know that two can play the game. If history is any indication, E-banking via the net portals may blow the doors off the banking industry before the "muckety mucks" get the payment "engine" started.
