thanks for the url's Stan! Im already studyin'.
When Zalesky(thanks for the digging Zalesky)mentioned the "no news till Jan." comment by Rsys Pr, I think the PR dept. was implicitly stating that there are no, at this time, formal official investigations. This would be good!
I know this piece of info is a month old, but we need some discussion topics. What is everyones spin on this:

"Radisys(incorrect spelling) pushes NT into real-time world"
Hillsboro, Ore. - Radisys Corp., trying to make Windows NT a potent contender in the embedded-control arena, last week formed a new division that will add real-time capabilities to the Microsoft operating system.
The Embedded Software Operation will use the iRMX real-time kernel technology acquired from Intel to ensure that NT can respond rapidly to factory-floor interrupts. To date, Microsoft has emphasized NT's so-called "soft" real-time capabilities-meaning it can manage events, but not within a guaranteed response time. With its new kernel add-in, Radisys said it is pushing NT into the "hard" real-time world where users can count on a response within a certain minimum period of time.
A product is expected in the second quarter of next year.

It seems to me that Intel and Microsoft both have a "vested" interest in the success of RadiSys.
