I prefer undervalued stocks that have the opportunity to appreciate. Not so much into NASDAQ over OTC-BB or vise-a-versa. Now if I could just bottle that undervalue formula I could retire, LOL. I use several freeware items over the internet. I typically search out a database that has all publicly traded issues listed and start from there. It's a tedious process but it has worked well for me. I too follow volume on my watch lists and sometimes jump onto issues where volume is moving up considerably for more than a few days in a row. A good example of that would be AJAY (not into it and question if it is a fluke/internet sales related popularity jump).
