Have you ever seen the inside of a standard engine???? If you do, look at the camshaft. Consider the camshaft from a V8, it has 16 lobs all shaped so the intakes are the same and at different locations, the same for the exhaust and all with hardened surfaces. What is the big deal about 8 lobs on a cam plate ???------John
