No one, repeat no one, who I talked to last week at Semicon West thinks we've bottomed. Knowledgeable optimists are calling the pick up in capex for 2-3Q99, pessimists are putting it as late as 2000. Inventory may have stabilized, but that's at only 50-70% capacity utilization. Inventory can jump 30% without a single tool purchase.
