Hi raefon

Firstly, I appreciate the tip about reporting periods after year end results. I wasn't aware of that.

>BTW do you own this stock? If you don't mind me asking, why?

I bought ASFT just before the big spike up in April, solely because of its chart pattern. I didn't even know what the symbol ASFT stood for. (Literally!) Unfortunately, I didn't have my limit sell order in place and I wasn't nimble enough to capture that huge spike in the stock price, so I found myself a de facto "investor" in the company. Before just getting out with a half point profit, I looked into the fundamentals of the company to see what kind of beast I had adopted, and I became a fan. Decided to stay around for a while.

General impression is that they have leading edge products in an exploding industry, and their CTI products have every indication of being a huge success if they can just get enough of them out into the market in as short a time as possible. Big question is whether this management is capable of capitalizing on the opportunity.

I don't see any great barrier to others entering the CTI market with competitive products, and those others would generally be larger and better financed than ASFT and have greater depth of experience in production and marketing. Picture the ASFT stock price the morning after Lucent announces a competing product.

If ASFT doesn't go full bore to get their CTI products out there, then they're going to find the market getting more crowded the longer it takes them.

I'm sure there are issues that management have to deal with that all us armchair quarterbacks aren't aware of, and I have to believe that they fully appreciate the opportunities in front of them, but I would really like to see more focus on CTI. I think the potential for these CTI products is so great that they should shed any other products that might be a distraction and that could divert resources and management from the main goal. Nobody has voted Lantastic "best in show" for a long time now.
