Mark,
thanks for the response. I just spoke with Lola (I think that is her name) and she confirmed what you have just said. They are "hoping" for Japanese PRK approval (they already have PTK approval) by the end of the year and they also hope to get approval for hyperopia by the end of the year. They have a panel meeting coming very soon (I can't remember if she said next week or next month, sorry). Depending on the surgery (Lasek or just the surface PRK) prices range from $2000-$2800/eye. Also, she said the stock split was nothing but a rumor although she said she wouldn't know unless they told her, which they did NOT.
I forgot to ask about insurance. Do you have any idea if insurance covers any of the procedure? I am guessing most of the people who suffer from myopia can't afford to come out of pocket for the procedure.
Again, I just got the VISX bug today and the DD wheels are just starting to spin. What happened to the stock price. Numbers were great, it jumped to 71, and now its down 10 points. Was there some bad news I missed or has this been its normal trading range?

Colby
