Greetings Van316 and there is no such thing as a stupid question. When we don't know something we should always feel free to ask questions and feel free to ask them on this thread. From: Radim Parchansky Intranet is network within a company, so it's not publicly accessed and therefore used for secured communication. I would just add this the INTERnet is the entity called (World Wide Web or www.) that thing out there that everyone seems to hookup to.
