Here's today's example of Web Street's level of functioning...

You will recall that they demand written requests for remission of funds. So I sent an email to them today with the following text content:

> Please send a check for $14,200 on Thursday July 23rd. Thank you.

That's a clear request, isn't it?

This is the response I received:

The proceeds of your sale settle 7-23-98 and the funds in money market will cover your request, though we will be unable to pay until 7-23

If the people who handle the margin department can't read one complete sentence, how can the company function?
