PC these days are so frigging cheap, I need a new one this Christmas if I can get one under $1000. I saw some Packard Bell ad for 300 MHz, 96M RAM, with 15" monitor and color printer for $1300 ... Can you believe it, I know Packard Bell is a lousy brand, but still the power is incredible, I hope I can pick up a Compaq or whatever (better than Packard Bell) for the same amount of power at Christmas time for about the same price. There is too much time wasted on a slow PC... Where are you going back to school and what are you studying ???
