You haven't heard of the ozone hole??? Let's see, it is now a little bigger than antarctica, and hovering over that continent as well ('cause it's the pole). It can be seen from space using various imaging frequencies. It is also said that all the CFC's that have been creating this hole are actually from 30-40 years ago when the levels released into the atmosphere were comparatively small to the 60's-90's releases. The stuff released in the later decades have yet to fully imopact the ozone hole. Side note: every time the space shuttle blasts off into space, it burns away a full 2% of the remaining ozone layer. It seems our only hope may be "greenhouse emmissions" that will help block the sun from frying our asses! I hear that in New Zealand and parts of Australia there are laws that require children to wear fully covering clothes and hats to school or they are sent home. In Chile the sheepherders, thier flocks, and the local wildlife have been going blind due to the new extreme exposure to the sun.
Wear your sunblock, it ain't like it used to be.
