Sounds like you and George are in the same camp and you certainly could be right.
Interesting what Greenspan said today. He virtually came out and said we are in a bubble - the revenue predictions that analysts have are unsustainable. It appeared to be a pointed jab at stock market speculation. That is in the face of something I heard today. The Fed got unbelievable hate mail from everyone the last time Greenspan spoke of this in his excessive exuberance speech.
He and Rubin are going at it. Greenspan must really fear a big tanksville down the road to talk like this again.
