Please confirm source of news on alleged split of NT on 1/7/99? Seems pretty early to be announcing a stock split over 5 months away(particularly when a 2 for 1 split would result in a price of only $31+; not much room for a downturn in stock price). Re your question of merger date, latest est is for sometime this September, barring any intervention by some Government agency(US or International). Paul
