Can anyone give a run down on which companies
stands to win or lose in the DVD vs DIVX war. I
feel the DIVX format will never take off because
it is not design to benefit the customer in any
significant way and it is too difficult to administer
(I am not going to run an extra phone line to the
divx machine just so that some centralized organization
can call in at night and record my view habits!).

Therefore, I would like to profit from this stupid
idea and would like to know what companies would be
good shorts if DIVX fails.
