Dear Bosco, you said"Not sure what you mean by "Bay doctored the numbers a bit?" Quite on the contrary, my
impression is that BAY was intentionally conservative - not sure reasons, maybe wanting
to project an above board image before marriage <vbg>. I mean, numbers like DSO don't
lie. Of course, I am more than happy to hear your explanations [and that should benefit
everyone here also.]"
What I saw that caused concern was Bay using a 25% tax rate versus 33% normalized rate.Certainly the "Blowout numbers" we all saw predicted a few days ago didn't materialize. Also looks as if alot of sales were moved to this quarter Seems .12 is a tad low for the revenues.Old tactic and doesn't mean a thing to Mr.House as this is last report by Bay as a single entity.
The only reason I would consider getting back in is because I feel as you do that NT may be able to turn up the pressure on the competition what with much deeper pockets.I'm aware historically NT has been very conservative and this I see as a negative.I'd be very interested in hearing how others see things.Wouldn't it be nice to have a synopsis from someone with an accounting background?
Regards,Dave
