That's often the term used. It's really a 'consolidation' of the shares and is the prelude to a new round of financings for small cap E/D companies. There will probably be a name change proposed with the merged-consolidated company like - 'Consolidated' Thunderwood Res.

They sure know how to pick appropriate times for these manoeuvres. They wait till the market tanks and they haven't any money to wait out the bear market and there aren't many other options. So they consolidate and merge with other similar companies to continue the work. Bad timing.

Nonetheless, when this happens, most shareholders get hosed while management(s) - both sides - get a boat load of cheap shares - thru options - out of this.

Why they couldn't ask Aur for a 'holiday' on the expenditure needed to earn their participation in the properties in Manitoba is beyond my understanding. I guess Aur's management - shared with THS - likes these deals better than do the other shareholders. If it were not so, then the price would be a tad higher than what it's trading at now.

I spoke to management when the stock was at $0.12/$0.13. They were really ticked off that a major shareholder had dumped his holders at the bid - all the way down from the low $0.20's. I guess that shareholder got wind of what was coming and thought it was time to go. Wish I had had that info back then.

Although it looks pretty washed out here, there is still selling pressure. Hence, I'd wait to see this turn up before I'd buy any more . No use in sending more good money after bad at this stage.

I still like the property prospects of THS but I'm having serious doubts about the Management and their respect for the shareholder. I am not yet convinced that these proposed actions are in our best interests. Having said this, I'm am still willing to listen.
