Greenwich is the first town when you cross the border from NYC to Connecticut. They don't sell Powerball tickets in either New York or New Jersey. The NYC tv stations always announce the powerball numbers and when they announce a pot over $100mln its like someone rings a bell. Everyone who wants a ticket in either NYC or New Jersey, Greenwich is the first stop on I-95, the Merritt and Metro North so they all come here. It really gets pretty funny. Greenwich as a community is definitely a bit full of itself and its always a laugh watching the locals confronted with long lines of 'those people'. :)
