Bummer about the ASE, George. While I'm a frustrated perma-bear, I do detect a redolence of blood in the water - and I'm readying the Short Program! -anyway- Don't be put out if I post to Emile. I operate on the off-chance that something I say may be heard. It's like a debt of honor to the self. I see that not as a repudiation of goodness/beauty, but as an extension thereof. If I were of the opinion that I am "casting pearls to swine", I would then be guilty of a kind of judgment. Because then I allow my opinion to become my policy. Wouldn't that be akin to proselytizing? An aesthetic dilemma, like finding that the one sure way to stop the progression of Aids would be to infect the patient with herpes.
