I do not know whether Dr. Salari is still employed academically at University of British Columbia. If such is not the case maybe he's just cashing in his chips (at a fairly low price) to play his own situation cautiously.

There's one other possibility that I can think of. I've been told by someone that recently (don't have even the month yet) that Dr. Salari had gone to the Intellecual Property people at UBC and tried to get at least some of the patents licensed to Inflazyme sublicensed to himself, and they refused. I haven't been able to verify it yet as the person I need to speak with was gone last week and hasn't answered the phone so far this week. If it is true, and I do not have verification yet, and maybe not ever, then we can only speculate at putative motives. Perhaps he was thinking of starting his own company, with or without the benefit of these patents. I would like to apologize ahead of time if this recent history is inaccurate.
