If AMD truly uses Motorolo (tm Yousef) .18um process, then I would expect
the K7 to slip even further. The reason being that AMD must be changing
their design rules, SPICE models, and library cells for this new process.
The K7 should be very far along already in design with a tape-out in late '98
or early '99. The only way for AMD to hold schedule would be to Fab the K7
in AMD's .25um process ... We might see 266mhz and 300mhz K7's. <ggg>
