Let me understand this. If I promote the stock I'm a bad person (got big holdings I bought real cheap and I want to make more money) and if I downgrade the stock I'm also a bad person (I'm shorting, you fool)?
Back to FAMH. This stock won't have any news for awhile yet people are still posting. Waiting for financials (Don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain) and people are posting merger possibilities from a questionable source. People seem to be so frantic about getting any kind of news, or should I say 'fictional morsels of data passing as news', about this stock that they'll latch on to anything be it good, bad or indifferent. Next post will be "The SI etiquette guidelines to thin-skinned investors". We shall all read it and be thankful that someone, unlike the rest of us, has done some mighty fine research. Give me a break! Mr. Rutherford is not shaking in his boots.
You're not telling me anything new or different from what I can find on the net by my little old self. We should limit postings: for every 3 fact laden posts (no rehash or items EASILY found on the internet) we can have 1 (one) silly or congratulatory post. I figure that should make this thread the best if not the leanest post on Silicon Investor. But then I do have my doubts that would ever happen.
Do you also get the impression that some people are pretty well addicted to this little virtual corner of the investment world. It's starting to sound like an AOL chat room. I can hear Ethel Merman now; "GOTTA POST, GOTTA POST".
Will I also end up like Asian Guyyyyyyyy? For every post he put up there must of been 10 responses (guesstimate) to his ramblings. I don't think anyone took him seriously and I don't think people have been stopping by of late to check on this stock. IHMO (In mY hUMble OPINion) this stock is flatter than sole run through a cider press. But as you all know it is only my humble opinion.*
OH, By The Way (BTW wink, wink, nudge, nudge) A lifetime subscription to SI (Silicon Investors for all you newbies) is $200.00. I guess somebody didn't do their research.
