I just got around to reading the thread header. I then had to go take a hot shower to relax, my gut hurt so much from laughing!

>>An April Fools joke started 4/1/98, or so they would have you believe.

I can attest to that, as I was quite peeved that they, um, launched earlier than scheduled and I didn't get in until post #36 ( #reply-3913535 ). By the way, is 36 a Significant Number?

>>A web site that costs too much in time and talent not to have a method to generate revenue.

Ummm, did you know that for a very modest fee one can have a web site on their own PC or hosted at their ISP? Obviously not. I do agree that Bill put on an exceptional display of his talent, admittedly with a bit of help from a few friends, er, associates.

>>It's amazing how many idiots, that's right folks, sometimes people like you and me, that will read their net site and come back to the SI board and persist in asking/posting about how to buy the stock. It's a monument to the naivet‚ and/or stupidity of the "average" investor.

By Jove, I think you've got it! If the label fits.......

>>Originally they were located, or so they said at their time of origination, in lower Connecticut, I think it was Stamford. They are now saying Sedona Arizona.

My friend, they're in cyberspace. Physical location is meaningless. Although I have a vision of sand and palm trees. Probably just a mirage.

>>Other rumors have them closely associated with The SI itself.

Charter members. Nothing more, nothing less. Certainly nothing sinister. To think otherwise simply shows a complete lack of knowledge or understanding of the SI principals' principles.

>>I personally believe there is a motive and it has everything to do with "follow the money.

Get real. I've seen no money, and they would never dare to cut Mr. Lawrence out of such a deal. <g>

>>Other information, (also a rumor,) that has recently been brought to our attention gives us reason to form the opinion that they have also been on the side of a notorious shorting MM firm so as to assist that firm in shorting the companies the FBN group has persistently bashed.

Okay, now you're just making it up as you go, right? Collusion? Try Prozac - it couldn't hurt.

>>Look at their net site, it cost a fair amount and didn't come from pocket change.

You really should make some attempt a getting an education before making such uninformed conclusions. There is untold freeware and shareware available on the web for setting up a web site and authoring its content. It takes some creativity and imagination, both of which you appear to have in abundance. You might need to contract to an outside firm for some assistance in the reality department, though.
