Floyd, where'd you hear that B&N might deliver?
I checked the BKS boards, and Yahoo! (well, as much as I could
stand - that place on a good day is about 10 times as bad as
it gets here on a bad day ...).

As appealing as the idea is that BKS might deliver from a
store near you ... I see a few problems ... first inventory
(they just might not have that book on authentic Eskimo igloo
building techniques in stock), and second, are BKS stores
semi-independent (ie, a franchise?). If so, I don't see how
the revenue might get split between the store and the company.
Also there's the issue of discounts that might be offered at
the web site, but not offered at the store. I guess they already
have to deal with that issue, though.
