SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 1998--USWeb Corporation
(NASDAQ:USWB), a leader in strategic Internet professional services, today reported
its results for the second quarter, ended June 30, 1998.
Revenues for the quarter were $25.4 million, an 86% increase over revenues of $13.7
million reported in the quarter ended March 31, 1998 and a 940% increase over
revenue for the same period last year. The net loss was $60.9 million, or $1.81 per
share, compared with a net loss of $16.4 million, or $0.56 per share, in the previous
quarter. Excluding non-cash charges, the net loss was $1.2 million, or $.03 per share,
compared with a net loss of $2.5 million, or $.09 per share, in the previous quarter. |
