Greetings all: this is my first post on SI.

I've owned qualcomm for about 2 years, and while the stock has been somewhat of a disappointment, [46 is my average after getting out some plastic to buy another bushel at 54 recently], I remain in the fold as one of the faithful [at least the PE has come down from 200]. My commitment is to see this thing all the way to 200 and then host a party in southern california worthy of the riches that will be bestowed on my qualcomm faithful brothers as we trot around the bases together after our grand slam homer [and get investor relations to kiss our butts]. As most of my bretheren have vacated the MF board where I have posted over 150 pages of over exhuberant and sometimes less than mature banter over the last two years, I figured I better get over here where the action is before I wind up partying alone.

Well we're finally on the other side of these two down quarters. The story continues to unfold as visualized. I would imagine that the projected 50% increase in world wide CDMA subscribers [from 12 million to 18 million] over the next 6 months should find its way down to qualcomm's bottom line whether by ASIC, handset, infrastructure, or royalties [most likely all of them]. And then the moderate to medium intelligent masses will finally go DUH and project what that will mean for the company when CDMA subscribers reach triple figures [in millions] by the year 2002.

Wireless is the future. We own the technology.
