SRCM's Patents do not encompass MPEG, therefore IMO they are worthless to any company wishing to provide internet cable access...

To back up this statement I offer the following :

wwwam.hhi.de

Notice that MPEG 4 and internet access utilize a COMPUTER NETWORK, not a television system. A computer network is not a television system

Also realize a patent must provide a working invention which is used to define the patent. CLEARLY the advances of MPEG, interactivity within a multimedia presentation via mouse or pointing device, and computer interactive networks were not defined in SRCM's patent invention models - pictures of which are included at:

patents.ibm.com

Heck at the time these patents were filed most of these things MPEG, interactivity within a multimedia presentation via mouse or pointing device, and computer interactive networks were not even functionally developed.

To say SRCM's patents cover these things now is IMO ridiculous - it suggests anyone could patent the concept of any new non-existent technology by filing a patent now. The patent office does not allow such nonsense. As I have said - it requires a working invention to have been developed before they issue a patent.

SRCM's patents cover a boring old technology similar to that found in hotel rooms where you punch in codes for access to movies still pages etc. That aint even close to the internet my friend.

The BULL hopes are based on these patents. I fail to find any remotely compelling argument why these patents cover internet access (internet even in it's name "net" defines that it is a network not a television system).

I do however, find reasons for SRCM management to want this stock to trade over 20 for the next 10 days. I find about 25.85 million reasons.

Cheers Steve
