GM, the "unusual activity" of the "Taking it in the shorts" thread is a reflection on the author's (Dixie's) conspiracy theories that SI is part of a Canadian short cartel in cahoots with FBN and Magneticdiary. (no kidding -- I'm not making this up). Supposedly, magneticdiary is a short-seller of penny stocks and also has some type of "arrangement" with SI. Very strange stuff. Remember our sandwiches and beer party last year at Pyramid Ale? Well, anybody who was there is part of it too. Dixie is refering to pictures of the event -- magneticdiary.com A picture of your shoes is in there. Therefore, your shoes are part of the conspiracy, according to Dixie. (seriously -- he's gone all over SI with the picture link). Who shot JFK? I'm not sure but likely I had something to do with it -- maybe your shoes did, too. Henry is a valued poster who actually writes a lot of good material on investments, particularly in the "resources" threads. He's pretty sharp. Don't discount people you see on the "TIITS" (taking it in the shorts) thread -- it's simply an "unusual phase" right now. <gg>
