Ahhaha, Regarding DVD: don't believe the hype. I can't believe they're even still talking about it. Take a look at the 5 year chart for CUBE. If Cable modems go bust, you can just cut and paste the CUBE chart over ATHM and BRCM. DVD has been around a long time and still hasn't gotten out of the gates. Too many companies fighting over standards. Makes HDTV standards battle look like another Woodstock Summer of Love in comparison. Hiram, since you seem to be an afficianado of down and out companies, have a very fluid writing style and what appears to be well thought out observations may I ask your opinion of TDFX? They are part of The Motley Fool portfolio as well as Yours Truly. If you can spot a bargain, or disagree that they are a bargain, jump over to the TDFX thread and throw your hat in the ring.
