Hello Don, Just taking a break from studies and dropped in on the thread. I hope Doug Robinson will have the opportunity to check over the posts as you suggest. Your thread seems to me now as having more info on IDEC than one could get 'most anywhere.
I was discussing CE9.1 the other day and had a thought which I don't remember seeing posted yet so I'll throw it out there now.
CE9.1 is designed not as a painreliever directly but rather has the effect of relieving the pain of Rheumatoid Arthritis because it interferes with the disease process itself. Other therapies have not been so successful in this area to my knowledge and, in fact, most make no difference in the course of the disease at all. They just cover pain. Now I may have brought this up before but the good thing about CE9.1 is that if it is true that it alters the course of the disease it may prevent or postpone the development of ulnar deviation. This symptom shows as a curving of the fingers to the side and can make many activities difficult or impossible. To my knowledge this consequence of RA cannot be corrected. If CE9.1 can eliminate or postpone this outcome it will be a very good thing indeed.
Mainly wanted to post and say let's hope for good news tomorrow. Also I'm sure we will get the full report from Brad soon and I of course hope all is going well with respect to his representing the NHL patients during this conference.
Have a good evening Don,
BENNETT
