Kemble:

I agree with you thT there is nothing wrong with Dell:

1. Analyst misinterpreted Tom's remarks. He only took half of the sentence.
2. MCD was upbeat at the shareholders' meeting. IF there is something negative, he would not be that exhuberant, otherwise those litigious lawyers would be ready at bay.
3. With less than 10 days in the quarter, there is no earnings warning. This is positively good sign.
4. AG was misinterpreted as usual. He always talks in circles. He says one thing about interest rates, but if you read between lines he indicated that recession could happen. The GM strike is costing GDP 1/2% growth every month. If that lingers to the end of the year, then 2 1/2% retardation (even more if compounded) could ensue which results into a negative growth of GDP. That would force the interest rates to come down to stimulate the economy. In the current environment, that wise owl AG would never say that he could see interest rate to come down. He would say the opposite!

Kemble, it is so good to read your positive attitudes. Your warmth and fresh air posts do sooth the uneasiness experienced in days like today.

And yes: BUY (MORE) DELL. I did this afternoon.

Best Regards,

A.
