Ah, two classics.

We have begun to make financial payments to our
acquisitions in six figures.

First of all, what the hell is a "financial payment"? How is it different from a cash payment?

Then, there's the verb-noun agreement thing. What are the acquisitions doing in six figures? Is that anywhere near Six Flags? I used to do this too -- when I was in grade school. Then the teacher made me memorize this:

Bill came home from his hunting trip with his brother and a moose on the roof of his car. Question, what was his brother doing on the roof of the car?! Maybe he was looking for the "acquisitions in six figures." Ha ha!

We have also made arrangements for bridge financing
of almost 1 million dollars, part of which has arrived
already.

I guess the company's building a bridge, but they only have enough money for half of it. Guess they'll have to cut the revenue projections in half as well.<g>

Thanks for the laughs.
