I'm not sure how they will benefit from the security aspect of the chip as far revenues are concerned, but it may help them to get the meters out into the market faster. That is my two cents worth. Being secure should help lesson fears of buying products over the internet which should help to increase the number of users. PS Please everyone get your votes in for the GSN names.
