Paul Engle: OTR...A friend working in Bulgaria reported this.... I don't know if it is true....
"The Romanian Academy of Science reported a possible link between the AMD K6 chip found in low end computers and three different forms of cancer. There is some evidence linking cancer deaths to the Cyrix chips, too, but the evidence is less conclusive. Scientists at the Grigore Alexandru Radiation Research Center in Pitesti said that, in sharp contrast to the AMD and Cyrix products, the Intel Pentium and Pentium II chips did not emit any harmful radiation. I'm sure CNN will not cover this story, but it is important that the word gets out. Please feel free to post it on the internet. "
