Trading LCAV and BEAM is like playing basketball--It is a
game. NOTE: Taken from a Yahoo chat line and revised.

Look at BEAM chart--up, down, up, down, just like someone dribbling a basketball. You catch it going down for a couple of bucks then up for a couple of bucks. What you don't do is catch it and hold it, because there's a shot clock, just like basketball.

Hold it too long, and you lose your play. BEAM is a traded (some say
manipulated) stock, so you trade it. You hold a stock like CTL, which just goes up in a straight line. Nobody wants to see anyone lose money. That's why everyone was warned about what was going on before it happened.
