Funny you should ask about earnings. They were released about 45 minutes ago.

I am cautiously optimistic about the earnings. Although I had hoped that TESI would earn more than one cent this time, I am impressed that costs have been held down as revenues increased. If you compare the 1997 quarter with the 1998 quarter, you will see that most of the additional revenue flows directly to the bottom line. That bodes well for the future as the resellers market more seats of Asset Insight.

Since there are no analysts following TESI, there was no expectation on the Street for earnings. We had a one cent profit last quarter, which was then taken away when the $1,000,000 reserve was set aside for the disputed account. Essentially then, we have had the same operational results as last quarter. I had hoped that the sales to Prudential, et al. would have had a greater impact on the bottom line. I think we are going to have to hold our breath on this one for another quarter. If we don't see some major announcements coming out within the next two months, I might be inclined to sell before the next earnings release.
