Brother Shalom, following is part of a post I made 12-6-96.
Acts 15:37 Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them, Acts 15:38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work. Acts 15:39 They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus, Acts 15:40 but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.
And God still had the victory, praise His name. He who brings victory out of seeming defeat is ever watchful of His Bride. Satan will never win. I suppose He thought he would when he killed the Prince of Peace, but he only released the power of God unto salvation for all the world.
I am trying to say, in a nice way, that we should take steve's advice and not talk anymore.
Oh well, I have no desire to banter words with you.(from the same post).
In Christ,
