TO ALL! You've got to read this post to me on the DELL Bear Thread from AJ Berger. What a riot. I particularly like the part about DELL ignoring retail distribution!

>>DELL Bear's are coming out of hybernation

Last year I correctly predicted the WDC was in trouble
when it was trading in the $50's and no one wanted to listen.

I feel the exact same way about DELL for similar fundemental logic.
I know these statement are written with a broad stroke, but consider;

1. DELL continues to ignore the growing sub-$1,000 market
2. DELL continues to ignore the retail store and VAR market
3. Boring Notebooks continue losing share to IBM and Toshiba
4. HP & Compaq Corporate Desktop offerings still more compelling
5. HP, Compaq and now Sony taking consumer market share away
6. Internet based web purchase/configure done by competitors too
7. DELL Direct division is fraught with pricing & delivary problems.
8. Xenon based servers are too ambitious to be taken seriously
9. Outsource/VAR's continue to sell HP & Compaq server and leave
DELL to the do-it-yourself'ers, thus increasing DELL support costs.

I have no agenda, and won't be back to debate these points.
Just want to go on record that as of this date, DELL should
be trading below $40 a share over the next 4 months.
