We are still in an irrational market in which many favored stocks are bid up to unrealistic proportions. The brokerage and analyst community has not been responsible in putting people into perspective - too easy to go along with the momentum themselves although it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that their long clients will get burned down the road. I don't know if that will change.

The company is also throwing gas on the fire by issuing press releases and pumping up analysts who are more than willing to listen to speculation on where the company is headed with too little history or knowledge to back it up and far too much enthusiasm to call their "analysis" (sic) rational.

I think Amazon will head lower over the next few weeks and months.
