The "Austin American-Statesman" today left Meredith's remarks in a negative light. They didn't mention any of the follow-up that some of you reported was announced by CNBC. The paragraph read: CFO Tom Meredith told analysts and investors on a conference call that average PC selling prices could fall for the quarter ending this month, but with two weeks left in the quarter, he declined to be specific, said Allison Cruz of Tanaka Capital, who listened to the call. Meredith couldn't immediately be reached to comment. I'm glad you Dellheads are out there listening and reporting. The above account doesn't sound the same as what you are reporting in Meredith's followup. Also, I was at the Annual Meeting in 1996 as well as last Friday. The tone of 1996 was so quiet. Michael seemed like a reticent young man, almost embarrassed at running an annual meeting. He is certainly a unique individual. Marie
