I see NO mention that after acquisition the company is going to be a financial burden on EDII...quite the contrary...NPI is projected to produce approximately $10Million dollars/YEAR...and that's not the WHOLE of Acqueren Inc...only it's subsidiary

And I see NO mention of how much debt Acqueren and/or NPI may or may not have.

Profit: remember that margins in this industry tend to be rather low, as someone pointed out here earlier.

In the more general sense you seem to have an odd idea of what constitutes "instant profitability". Acqueren/NPI will not actually be a profitable investment until its earnings have exceeded the price EDII paid for it. The other day I pointed out that EDII is buying A/NPI for stock worth about $11 million. Now: A/NPI expects sales of about $10 million. Naturally the earnings figure will me much lower. So where's the "instant profit"?

I know I've said it many times before, but I am at a loss to understand why so many on this thread appear to believe that acquisitions cost the acquirer nothing. As noted previously, I'd be overjoyed to apply this concept to my own daily life.
