Personally, yes. Adaptec's ultra wide with the new 1394 standard seems, for me, at this point, the best way to get high enough transfer rates for good digital video in a PC. SCSI still beats the rest for speed even though it's more expensive and takes up slot space. 1394 and USB are the next wave, so I'd recommend looking in that direction. Also many new motherboards are coming out with onboard controllers and USB.
