I must assert that my behavior under the circumstances was far more lenient and accommodating than would have been accorded to myself by many (not all) of the participants on this thread. I did not post the occasion elsewhere on the internet. I did not contrive to propagandize the incident throughout the internet. Anything I had to say to taxikid was posted to taxikid. (Please contrast this with the many posts that taxikid and others posted about me on various threads, attacking me behind my back as it were. Who do you think is upholding a higher moral standard here)?

I made it clear that this was/is taxikid's claim to fame--NOT MINE! When I reposted "the scolding", it was strictly on the instigation of taxikid, as he chose to revisit the incident while making his rounds about the internet "anguis in herba". When I reposted, I made it very clear that it was for taxikid only, and that it was part of a THERAPY SESSION. "Caveat lector"! I'm sorry, Druss. I am booked up. Book an appointment through my secretary.

Please! I am flattered! What made you compare a spanking skit on a dull internet morning from a guy that grew up throwing hay and picking rocks...to Rabelais...!!! Are you being sublime?? Now tell me the truth: do you really think he was better?!! or did he just have more time??!! Or are you just trying to hurt my feelings!!!

Seriously, Druss, I love great literature. If you possess the credentials to discuss same with me...I would like nothing better. (It would upgrade the thread, wouldn't it?). We could spend all our time making derogatory comments about the great authors...instead of about each other! But first: perhaps you could tell us a little about yourself...hmmm? After all, it appears to me on reading your post, that you are attempting to hold forth as an educated man. Perhaps you could share with me the last 10 books you have read. That would tell me everything I need to know about you. (But perhaps that begs more disclosure than you would feel comfortable with?)

By the way. I do hope Rabalais (sic) is not your favorite artist!! (rather, that you are just being surpassingly and sublimely careless)!
