Sean & Gary,

Thanks! After a little more research I've discovered how to get rid of the extraneous ocx's..

You need to load each of the programs into the IDE and click the Toolbox icon on the Toolbar. Right click on the toolbox and then left click on the components selection. This will present a list of components (ocx's) that are included in the project. Scroll down thru the list and try clicking all of the checked items. If the project is actually using a component it won't allow you to de-select it. When finished click the apply and then the ok buttons.

The original usage probably came from the template used when the project was originally created..

Gary, thanks for the registry items. I'll research this and try to incorporate them.

I've already done some more cleanup work and have removed the listbox from the LoadSymbol program and replaced it with the Flexgrid - this makes for a much "cleaner" presentation of the data.

If you're interested I can send these to you when I'm finished..

Dale
