Mark,

LCI merging with Qwest is the best thing that could have happened for both of the companies. Qwest was a fiber provider that leased it's fiber to other carriers and LCI was a carrier that had to lease it's
fiber from a provider. 2+2=4.. or whatever the current stock price is.. My question is, if LCI was at 40+ per share before the marriage and Qwest bought them, why hasn't it risen past where LCI was before
the merger? Sure, it depends on the amount of Stock available, but
isn't that shored up when they are merging? with X amount remaining?
I just see it as the value of the company was increased by at least
30%. As far as growing pains, there were no layoffs or dramatic cuts
in the budget. I'd say that since most company's have a large slashing
frenzy and that this one hasn't, that things are going smoother than expected. (not to meantion growing FAST)
