So it should say CPQ, meaning that CPQ dumped inventory, okay agreed.
As for Intel dropping ASP for a different reason, I'd like to know why you think Intel dropped ASP's ?

Simple because #1 boxmaker CPQ was buying equivalent chips for less $. IBM too.

I won't buy AMD inside but lots of people will, just like lots will buy other than Dell if it's cheaper. Declining ASP's got Intel and it will eventually get Dell. Thank goodness Dell has a better business model than the competition. As for quality, how long do you keep a PC anyway, it's extinct in 3 years anyway.
