I shorted GTW, and used the proceeds to pay for the PC's. At the time, GTW had a better price than Dell for what I wanted. RE: <<THAT is why people choose DELL. Not because of it's EPS, but because when buying computers DELL is rapidly becoming the STANDARD. I say that without hesitation. >> that is a very bold statement for a company that only has 10% of the market, and the biggest guy on the block has taken the position of just simply pricing their boxes lower than DELL. Of course, CPQ bought DEC's $7 billion service business to help the bottom line. Gee, that is about 1/2 of DELL's total sales. I enjoy your enthusiam for the stock and their products. But be careful not to let your biases towards the products effect your opinion on the stock. The two are very different. Jim
